А если честно, то какой только ерунды про крыс мне не доводилось выслушать от людей, внешне кажущихся нормальными. И, дескать, они младенцев воруют, и вырастают размером с кошку, и хвосты-то у них ядовитые, и чуму-то они переносят. И живут по шесть и более лет, ничем не болея. Крысоводы даже тему соответствующую на форуме подобрали и смеются по-тихому. Вот, кому интересно.

Остается только задать вопрос, почему тогда люди вообще выжили, если учесть что крысы сопровождают нас всю нашу жизнь, даже против нашей воли. И почему у профессиональных заводчиков, кои содержат порой одновременно по 40-50 зверьков, никогда нет обглоданных рук, носов, они не болеют разными страшными болячками, и почему их звери живут не больше четырех лет? У меня нет ответа. Впрочем, мы отвлеклись от темы нашей беседы. Возвращаемся.

В итоге, я считаю, что этот роман должен занять почетное место на полке каждого интеллигентного и способного думать, человека. Это неплохой учебник по истории и политологии.

По нему в свое время было поставлено два фильма. Первый – 1956 года – черно-белый. А второй – 1984 года. Оба прекрасно сделаны, за исключением того, что я бы порекомендовала все-таки новый – он более полно отображает книгу, и его можно смотреть даже тем, кто роман в руках не держал.

Теперь, что касается «Скотного Двора». Этот роман позиционируется изначально, как сатира на российское общество, дореволюционного и пост- периода.

Победа народа над прежним режимом и плавный переход в тоталитарный. Герои мне лично не узнаваемы, но возможно Оруэлл взял собирательные образы.

Самое интересное, что все главные герои – животные с самой обычной фермы. Лошади, свиньи, куры, овцы.

Свиньи – элита. Они держат власть и постепенно заставляют своих подчиненных чувствовать ее тяжелую пяту. Сначала урезаются пайки, затем увеличивается количество работы. Потом появляются репрессии и первые убийства ради власти.

Что характерно, все животные называют друг друга – товарищ, изначально проповедуют коллективизм(у них это называется анимализм) и равенство. Они распевают гимны, слушаются вожака и строят БАМ мельницу.

Изгнав узурпатора-фермера, животные образуют свое государство, переименовав «Господский двор» в «Скотный двор», поставив над собой свиней, как самых умных, и заложив основу государства в виде семи заповедей.

1. Каждый, кто ходит на двух ногах, - враг.
2. Каждый, кто ходит на четырех ногах или имеет крылья, - друг.
3. Животные не должны носить одежды.
4. Животные не должны спать на кровати.
5. Животные не должны употреблять спиртные напитки.
6. Животные не должны убивать себе подобных.
7. Все животные равны.
