И оба они заметили, что оба заметили. И автор заметил, что они заметили, и читатель заметил, что автор заметил. А автор заметил, что читатель заметил?

Но книга не состоит лишь из одних плохих моментов, как могло показаться из всего того, что я здесь понаписала. Есть и крупицы бриллиантов.

«– Хреново было, – признался он. – Чуть шею мне не свернул. Благодарю за помощь, дружище. Ты спас меня. Я мог, что уж говорить, запросто распрощаться с жизнью.

– Жизнь жизнью, – прервал Самсон, – но задницы своей ты бы нетронутой не унес. Здесь этого ликантропа знают, вся округа знает. Будучи человеком, он тоже питал любовь к извращениям, и в волчьей шкуре это у него осталось. Теперь вот подстерегает таких, которые вроде тебя скидают штаны и раскрывают… э… прости, свой междужопок. Привык, паскудник, сзади схватить и сковать движения… А потом… Сам понимаешь».

«Картина была почти совершенно окончена и изображала святого Себастьяна. Однако Себастьян на картине принципиально отличался от привычных изображений мученика. Ммм…

Заканчивается книга просто, с полунамеком на продолжение, которого вполне можно было избежать, на мой взгляд. И хотя я не стану читать продолжение, о чем я уже упоминала, как мне кажется, я не много потеряю. Очень сомневаюсь, что герой вырастет, как в физическом, так и в моральном плане, а не останется придурком, нахватавшим знаний по поверхностям всех наук и изображающим из себя невесть что.

А Сапковский продолжит разворачивать перед читателем историю чешско-польского противостояния, обертка у которого могла бы быть и получше.
