Сегодня я хочу поговорить с вами о том, чем же в плане содержания отличаются самцы крыс от самок. И начнем со строения.

Самки мельче. Самцы крупнее. У самок на пузе, если чуть приподнять шерстку, видны соски, в количестве 12 штук. У самцов под хвостом два «кошелька», внушительных размеров.

Самцы - это большие плюшки, тискательные и ласковые. Они имеют более крупные по сравнению с самками размеры и более жесткую шерсть. Еще самца легко опознать по голове(по фото или вживую), например - она у него крупная и широкая, с длинным, тяжелым лбом.

Самки - мелкие, шилопопые, поскакушные. Они мягче, юрче и имеют более мелкие размеры. Самка никогда не подойдет к вам за почесушками, если можно побегать и что-то погрызть.

Самки будут отстаивать свое право на место в иерархической лестнице до последнего и очень ревностно относятся к каждому новому члену стаи.

Иерархическая лестница - социальное положение крыс, преимущественно самок. Включает в себя такие понятия, как ГК - главная крыса(не обязательно самая старшая или самая задиристая, просто самая уважаемая), крыса-добытчик - боевая единица, приносящая в стаю еду(будь то пульт от телевизора, кусочек сыра, грамм на 300, или ваши любимые конфеты из вазочки), крыса-разведчик - занимается разведыванием и описыванием новых земель - первая составляет карту местности. И крыса-дегустатор - обычно из самого низшего положения. Пробует еду, и сообщает всем остальным - можно ли ее есть и вкусно ли оно. Количество подклассов крыс зависит от размера стаи и индивидуальных качеств отдельно взятой особи.

Самцы спокойнее с соседями, но только не в период полового созревания, когда гормоны бушуют в груди, а рядом находится наглая морда соседа.

Взрослые самки весят от 200 до 500 грамм(но бывают и исключения в виде 900 грамм. Но это редко).

Самцы - от 400 до 900 грамм и это совершенно нормально. Бывают экземпляры и более килограмма. При этом крыс может вовсе не выглядеть толстым.

Как вы поняли - самцы и самки сильно отличаются друг от друга, и при заведении крыс это надо учитывать. Скажу еще одно - процент агрессивных к человеку особей не зависит от пола и примерно одинаков среди самок и самцов. И это скорее следствие тяжелого крысиного детства и непростого общения с человеком, чем просто черта характера. Поэтому новичкам в крысоводстве я рекомендую с большой осторожностью брать в дом взрослую крысу, или же заводить пасюка. Даже, если он поведенческий.
