Пасюк - дикая крыса. Та самая серая, живущая на помойке или в ларьке с пирожками на остановке. Имеет небольшие размеры, взлохмаченный и грязный вид. Агрессивна по отношению к человеку только в том случае, если он прижмет ее к стенке. В остальном - нейтральна. Старается убежать. Поведенческий пасюк - выращен в виварии, путем отбора неагрессивных к человеку особей, на протяжении нескольких поколений. Сохраняет характер и особенности своих диких предков, но не столь опасен для пальцев.

И еще несколько советов.

Если вы собираетесь покупать крысу на рынке или же в зоомагазине, большая просьба обратить внимание на содержание этой крысы. Если мы говорим о мальчике, то это всего лишь наличие поилки и миски в клетке. Если мы говорим о девочке, то не следует брать в дом самку, содержащуюся в одной клетке с самцами. Пусть вас не сбивают с толку ни ее возраст, ни слова продавца о том, что все в порядке. Беременность у крысы может наступить в 4-5 недель - именно во столько профессиональные заводчики рассаживают разнополых крысят. И поэтому купить крысу «с сюрпризом» практически не составляет труда.  По внешнему виду их возраст вы, конечно, не определите, но знайте - на рынке вам могут продать и двух-трех-недельных крысят, в зависимости от жадности продавца. Выглядят они очень маленькими и скорее напоминают мышек. Они уже могут есть твердую пищу, но все еще очень зависят от мамы и ее молока. Их длина составляет не более шести сантиметров, без хвоста. В свое время я приобрела пару таких малышек. Не скажу, что обрела кучу проблем, но в итоге мне пришлось усыпить одну из них из-за проблем со здоровьем в полугодовалом возрасте. Вторая же без трудностей дожила до трех лет и трех дней.

Приобретая крысенка обратите внимание на его поведение. Если он чешется, то скорее всего условия его содержания были не самыми лучшими - он приедет к вам домой с клещами. Не страшно, но неприятно.

А вот если крысенок мельче своих собратьев, это совсем не значит, что он болен. Просто ему не хватает характера и сил отогнать других от миски и покушать нормально. Если вы будете содержать его одного, то он очень быстро вырастет в полноценную крысу.

Если шерсть крысенка с проплешинами - не спешите верить продавцу, что это особая «порода», за которую нужно заплатить не 100 рублей, а 700. Скорее всего, вас обманывают. Если вы точно не уверены, что перед вами дабл рекс, не берите его. Возьмите обычного белого(черного, рыжего), у которого шерсть ровная.

Если вы видите «кровь» возле глаз или носа крысенка, тоже отложите его покупку. Этот товарищ болен. Это не кровь, а порфирин - особый секрет крыс, который особенно проявляется в момент, когда крыса не может ухаживать за собой. Это чаще всего проявляется в болезни - острой респираторной или же ОГМ. У крысят это явление редкое, поэтому потенциального владельца должно насторожить особо.

Порфирин пугает только в одном случае - если вы не имеет опыта содержания, а уж тем более лечения крысы(но иначе, зачем бы вы стали все это читать?).
